Our trip to the Grand Canyon in January!! It was a perfect time to go, not to busy and the weather was amazing. We started our journey off in Sedona for a few nights, hiked the Red Rock Canyon and visited the Montezuma Castle National Monument. We also enjoyed a day trip to a little town called "Jerome". It was a quaint little town at the top of a mountain! The drive was a little scary...but we survived. We had some lunch and then visited the Jerome's Ghost Town, where the population was 5!
The next day we made our way to Flagstaff for a few beverages in town and headed down Route 66 into Williams, AZ. We stayed the evening at Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel, enjoyed our time in the hotel bar. The people and staff were amazing. Then the following morning hopped on the train and headed to the South Rim in the Canyon, where we stayed 2 nights at a lodge! One of the best vacations we ever took! We are looking forward to another trip there in the future.
